Asthma is a heterogeneous inflammatory disease. Children are not little adults and their asthma treatment plans must recognize the unique properties of the pediatric airway and medication. Our pediatric pulmonologist specialize in treating children and teens with breathing problems, diseases of the lungs and airways and chronic and acute respiratory disorders including asthma. Our team, led by Dr. Marzena Krawiec, is on call 24/7 to attend to pediatric emergencies.
The pulmonologist collaborates with intensivists, neonatologists and hospitalists and is available for consult when there are complex pulmonology conditions.
